The By Air By Rail Festival was first held in July of 2005 which featured a handful of vendors and 8,500 sq.ft of model trains and LEGO displays, as well as a 1/2 a dozen hot air balloons. Since 2005 the event has grown and now has over 10,000sq. ft of LEGO displays, model trains, planes, etc. Recent events have included artwork from Mount Vernon High School students, Flight Simulators brought out by Grissom Air Force Base, as well as live muisic!
