The Initial By Air, By Rail Festival was a way of promoting the chamber, its members, and our communities as well as a way to bring the communities together.Each year in the summer, the By Air By Rail is a festival to raise money for the McCordsville/Fortville Chamber of Commere. They have many activities for you to do and have fun. There will be model trains, model airplanes, lego displays, art displays, vendor, entertainment, and more! This festival is located at the Mt. Vernon Intermediate School in the middle of July. The event is now scheduled for the next 10 years on the 3rd weekend of July. Attached are the dates for the festival for the next 10 years. It continues to grow and expand and people from our communities as well as from other states and communities continue to attend the festival as it continues to grow.
