Mt. Vernon Steel Drum Ensemble

Welcome to the official site of the Mt. Vernon Steel Drum Ensemble. A single ensemble consists of around 10 members. We have more than 30 members, so we have had to split them up into three different bands. Two bands are beginner bands and the other one is the Advanced band. We have a huge collection of songs that we play for the public. Our favorites would have to be "The Bannana Boat Song (Day-O)," "Under the Sea," "The Proposal," "Cha-Cha Sandwich," and "Mango Salsa" just to name a few. This site will include pictures and videos from performances and gigs we have played, including our most recent gig at the Conseco Fieldhouse at a Pacers Game. Enjoy!
