Positions
1. Point Guard
The point gaurd is the person who takes care of the ball. He also is the person who
calls the plays and gets people open. The point guard is usually the best dribbler and
passer on the team.
2. Shooting Guard
This position has kind of the same job the point guard has accept the shooting guard doesn't
bring up the ball. The shooting gaurd is usually one of the best shooters on the team.
They need to be able to play the point guard position also because that is hard to stop if they can.
3. Small Forward
Just because they are small forward's doesn't mean they are actually small. They are usually
known for their scoring and dribbling abilities.
4. Power Forward
Small forwards are usually one of the biggest guys on the team. They are needed for getting
rebounds and scoring inside. They make the plays work too because they set picks to get
people open to score.
5. Center
The center is the biggest guy on the team. He gets all the rebounds on defense and offense.
They score there points inside close to the goal. They communicate to everybody so no one gets
confused.
