We have been in Pensacola, Florida for about 3 days now. The first day out at the beach my back got severly sunburnt and so I had to sit in the shade. I was relieved when I found an activity I could do in the sun without getting sunburnt. Fishing, yes this was my relief from the sun. Most teenagers my age think fishing is gross and say they hate it. Luckly I love fishing a lot. We went to the pier down the road and rented some fishing gear and we were ready to go. This would be my first time fishing in the ocean. I threw my pole in and waited what seemed like forever to catch a fish. However, when the time finally came when I felt that strong force opposing mine and I suddenly got scared. Was this fish going to pull me overboard? Was my line going to break? All of the sudden I heard a voice telling me to pull as hard as I could. I did not recognize the voice but I could tell it was a man. When I pulled in my huge Spanish, I turned to see a tall Man with gray hair. As we started to talk I noticed he had a strong accent. As I started talking to him I found out his name was Blade and he was from Homer, Louisianna. He noticed that I was having some trouble fishing and offered to help me. He taught me to use a gochigi(sorry if my spelling is wrong) and taught me to catch about 2 fish in 3 minutes. Crazy right! I had so much fun because Blade hung out with my family and my family friends the rest of the trip.
