Bandwidth
- They are small chunks of data that are made when large amounts of data are broken down.
- The larger data amounts are broken down into packets, because it is more efficient to send the smaller data amounts.
- The packets are then put back into a larger piece of data upon arrival.
- The Internet has a funnel that can fit only a certain number of packets at a time.
- The units used to measure the size of this funnel are bits per second (bps).
- The total bps of this funnel is the bandwidth of that funnel.
