- Teleportation
- -Nightcrawler is a mutant who can teleport by opening a portal into another dimension, travelling through it via an unconscious direction-finding sense, and returning to his own dimension.
- -Nightcrawler has a limited unconscious extrasensory ability that prevents him from teleporting to areas that he cannot see, or that are located in the past, becuase it could cause injury or death.
- Climbing
- -Nightcrawler is also able to cling to solid surfaces with his hands and feet.
- Invisibility
- -Nightcrawler can make himself invisible in dark light, by manipulating the light around him.
- Energy
- -Nightcrawler gets his energy by eating insects with his long, frog like tongue.
