- First I selected a basic template and created a circle on the origin point along the X and Y axis
- I then created a circle directly above it on the Z line, which was perpendicular to the Y plane.
- Using multiple methods of adding and removing the planes, and using the Follow Me command (found under Tools on the main toolbar) I was able to create a bowl, inner tube, and sphere.
- Next I used the push/pull (extrude) command on several squares. Creating several boxes.
- Using the scale command I was able to create a pyramid (likewise on a circle to form a cone)
- Then I accessed the 3D text command to create the words "I Hate This Program With A Firey Passion
- I then used the Google Sketch Up Warehouse to find premade models of: a Halo grunt, Halo elite honor guard, 343 Guilty Spark, the SSV Normandy from Mass Effect, the Original Enterprise, and the Firefly class freighter Serenity
- Using the Fog command I created a reddish haze which permeates the scene
- I then applied materials to all of my models save for the premade models
- Finally I repositioned the camera and exported the image.
