I chose John Sculley because I thought he was one of the biggest influences in the computer revolution. I dislike Apple© very much, I'm more of a Microsoft© kind of guy, however, John Sculley is and forever will be- My hero.

- He was president at PepsiCo until he left to work for Apple.
- During his tenure, Apple's sales increased from $800 million to $8 billion.
- He fired Steve Jobs which, later, bit him in the but because Apple's stocks declined and sales deminished.
Important Information
- He became CEO of Apple on April 8, 1983, a position he held until leaving in 1993.
- Sculley is currently a partner in Sculley Brothers, a private investment firm formed in 1995.
- He was ultimately forced out of Apple in 1993 as the company's margins eroded, sales diminished and stock declined.
- In May 1987, Sculley was named Silicon Valley's top-paid executive, with an annual salary of US$2.2M.
