Green Lantern (aka Hal Jordan) started of as a pilot a very good one at that. He was cocky and brave and was fired for pulling a stunt during a training excercise. He was then chosen by an alien, that was a part of a powerful core that kept peace in the universe, who was killed by the most evil force in the universe. Now Hal will have to defeat that force with his new found ring and its amazing power that can turn his thoughts into reality.
