What are his powers?

Batman has no superhuman powers. This forces him to rely on his own scientific knowing of things, athletic abilities, and detective skills. Superman describes him as, "The most dangerous man on Earth" because of his ability to defeat so many people, or things, at one time. Batman spent a lot of his life time traveling to learn the skills he needs to defeat his enemies. As a lot of you know, he is a master of disguise. The name of his alter ego is Bruce Wayne, millionaire.

• The costume: His costume was created to look like a bat to scare criminals.


• Equipment: He has a large amount of weapons; the newest being "The Bat", the one we all know "The Bat-Mobile".

When did Batman begin?

Batman made his first appearance in the comics in May of 1939. The person who came up with the concept was Bob Kane and the developer was Bill Finger.

Batman has had parternerships with: Robin, Batgirl, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

His three most recent movies are Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and Last, but not least, The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
