Introducing Indy’s NEW Women’s Professional Football Team, the CRASH.

New name with veteran owner, players and coaches.

Indianapolis, Indiana – October 28, 2010 – The Indy Crash is preparing for a new season of football with a new name. The Indy Crash is part of the Women’s Football Alliance WFA that currently consists of 52 teams across the country. Although the name is new, it still consists of the same championship players and coaches that our fans have grown to love. Indianapolis knows sports and our teams know how to win. We want to encourage everyone to get to know the Crash, our players, our coaches, our league and our winning spirit.

Mission: Who are we? Indy Crash Women's Football. What are we going to do? Win. Indy Crash plans on continuing the Indianapolis tradition of winning football games. While our name may not be familiar, the faces behind it are those of the players you have come to know and love over the years. While our mission is to become champions, it is also a lot bigger than that. Women's football has been around for a long time, existing only because of the owners and coaches that believe in it and make it possible for women to learn, play and master the game. These players dedicate their time and sacrifice their bodies to perfect their skills. It is not uncommon to find police officers, lawyers, students and stay at home mom's on one team, commitment and talent have no one face. Our desire is to make women's football and the Indy Crash a household name and provide the opportunity for any woman to come try out and fulfill a dream that has not always possible. We are focused on giving back to our community through community service, supporting athletes in the Indianapolis area, and volunteering our time and muscles to local causes. Our community is very important to us; we could not exist without its support and are very thankful for it. We love Indianapolis and will proudly represent it.

The Indy Crash will be host another Rookie Tryout in November to add to our growing team. The coaching staff would like to invite interested parties in trying out for our Championship team to contact us!
