Legacy is a format involving all cards from all sets, and is an interesting format to watch. Many newer plays tend to be unaware of this format, and that is quite alright due to the expensive cards that go into a great legacy deck. There are always those decks that live on through time as a cheaper way to win, but passion and money can create a great deck. One of the best players I know told me, "Gavin, you're skill is equal to everyone else's, but your money isn't. Once you money can reach your skill, you'll have the best deck and be the best player." Which is the unfortunate truth, but Legacy tournaments often arise great prizes and fame.

This deck is a random brew by Maukamania himself. It seems like a viable choice in the format, with the hard hitting batterskulls as well as the minor amounts of control to help getting to the mystic. A turn two mystic is often necessary for this deck, but not always. Metamorphs are hard counters to Legendaries as well as getting a mirror image of a big hitter your opponent has. The control in this deck helps the 4/4 Batterskull Germ get in, because even though I'm paying 4 for a 4/4 Vigilance Lifelink, it may just be dwarfed on the next turn. Angelic Wall is the off-card in this deck, but it helps for some protection for at least a few turns, combining with the counterspells to stall the game into a mystic. The Blighted Agent and the Inkmoths are targets for the creature kill spells, as well as hilarious equip targets. Cloudshifts provide for easy protection to kill spells, and shifting the mystic grabs me another Batterskull.
