Modern is a format that includes cards all the way back to 8th edition. There are some bans as well as overpowered restricted cards. Infect is still alive in Modern, because it was so viable in Standard at one point and is combined with its overpowered combos to create maddess. Most Modern decks "go off" very early game, as in turn 3.
Angelic Wall x4 Martian Law x4 Jace's Erasure x4 Increasing Confusion x4 Ludivec's Test Subject x2 Overgrown Battlement x4 Axebane Guardian x4 Sands of Delerium x4 Wall of Denial x4 Angelic Shield x4 Forest x9 Island x9 Plains x6
The basis of this deck originated from a jolly Maukamania out to troll his buddies. After awhile, this deck seemed nearly viable enough to win consistently. While this isn't the exact deckbuild, this is what seems to be the optimal brew. Mill hasn't ever been the best way to win, but with a playset of Wall of Denial's in your opponent's way, there's not much that can go around that. The Angelic Shield and the Martian Law are in there for the wall breakers that come after awhile. I only play two Ludivec's Test Subject, due to the fact it doesn't entirely fit the flavor, but helps to beat things down.
